I was born and raised primarily in Henry County. I graduated from Stockbridge High in 2003 and joined the Clayton County Fire Department in 2004. Throughout my ten years at CCFD, I found much success in rising to the rank of Sergeant and was awarded Firefighter of the Year and other various life saving awards. In tandem with my fire career, I began a second career path at Mark Turner Grading. I started off as a mechanic's helper and quickly grew into an equipment operator. Soon after, I took on the role of Site Development Manager. In 2012, I had the opportunity to become a partner at MTG. Since the partnership, I have had the pleasure of adding multiple divisions to the existing company. I decided to leave the fire department in October of 2013 and focus solely on MTG. Over the last ten years, I have been at the forefront of the branding, growth and success of MTG. Along the way, I have acquired my Septic installation/repair license, Class A CDL license, Segmental Retaining Wall certification and Utility Manager license. In December of 2021, I was blessed to take on McDonough Truck and Trailer. I have always had a heart for heavy equipment and was excited to add heavy equipment repair and refurbishing to our services. We have since transitioned into McDonough Truck, Trailer & Equipment and will continue to carry on the legacy of honesty and integrity.
